Andrea Rossi Cold Fusion : 2 italians scientist discovered a ney way to produce energy (the E-Cat / LENR Revolution)

The science behind Cold Fusion has always exhibited heated debate among physicists, and inevitably disagreements. However, two Italian scientists, Engineer Andrea Rossi and Professor Sergio Focardi, attached to the University of Bologna, Italy, have over the years been working tirelessly behind the scenes, and have emerged with a new cold fusion reactor. Their invention involves fusing nickel and hydrogen to produce massive energy, in this case copper. The Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) process carried out using the E-Cat (or Energy Catalyzer), an apparatus invented by Rossi, has produced very positive results so far.

In the process, hydrogen is heated at a constant temperature using a simple resistor. Production of energy is initiated when the ignition temperature is reached. Nickel contains more electrons and protons than hydrogen, and is therefore heavier. It breaks down the atomic molecules of hydrogen that is in contact with nickel to form hydrogen atoms. Electrons released by the hydrogen atoms permeate the conductivity band, formed by both hydrogen and nickel electrons, thus enabling the hydrogen to diffuse into the nickel, transforming it into copper. This is easy because at the center of the nickel atom is a space filled with electrons and conductivity electrons.

According to statements from Rossi, the cost of producing energy using the Energy Catalyzer is 1 cent/MWh. This means 3GW thermal or 1GW electric would cost as low as $3 and certainly no more than $6. This is two times less than the cost of a nuclear plant at present. What this means is that Rossi and Focardi may have finally found the key to producing limitless energy at low cost.

Although there have been skeptical remarks on the viability of the invention, such a product can only have come this far following extensive tests and validations. So far, numerous physicists have tested the reactor and given the nod of approval. Reports of tests carried out so far show that energy output was indeed more than 10kW.

Already, plans are underway to construct a 1megawatt plant in Greece for Defkalion Green Technologies. This plant will have the capacity to produce 300,000 10-kilowatt units per year. Defkalion Green Technologies hopes to provide a competitive market entry of the product, to be known as Hyperion. The plant is expected to be open in a few months time and finally, we will be able to gauge Rossi's invention. In the USA market the E-cat will be commercialized by AmpEnergo the new company created to sell the Rossi and Focardi's LENR invention. More information about investing in cold fusion and market opportunities will be released soon.
